“The name of my character is Ammar. It’s an interesting yet challenging role for any actor. After a long time the audiences will get to see a character which has many shades and layers to it.

It has a religious aspect to it; I recite Naat, Hamd and verses from the Holy Quran. It’s conservative on the contrary having a contemporary touch to it. Kinza Hashmi plays the lead protagonist.

‘Maria-Binte-Abdullah’ has shaped up really well. It was a wonderful experience working with 7th sky entertainment, Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi are well versed with the art of bringing the best from their actors. They don’t let the actors get typecast. I haven’t portrayed such a role in my career before.

I want to thank Mehrunisa Mustaqeem, Saleem Ghanci and Anjum Shahzad who were quite instrumental in the entire process. I hope this project does wonders and grab eye balls as well”
