Aamir Khan apologizes to his fans for the debacle of ‘Thugs Of Hindustan!
The huge debacle of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ came as a shocker to the entire film fraternity of India. No one had foreseen that a film made on a budget of over Rs 250 crore and that which stars two biggest icons will meet turn out to be a disaster at the ticket window. But sadly the reality is there for everyone to see.
Thugs of Hindostan, starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, has failed and how! It has literally crawled its way into the Rs 150 crore-club which is appalling, to say the least.
Actor Aamir Khan has taken full responsibility for the debacle of ‘Thugs Of Hindustan‘, and has apologized to the audience for not being able to entertain them even though the team tried hard to give the high budget film its best shot.
Aamir interacted with the media at the second edition of Cinestaan India’s Storyteller Script Contest 2018 along with writers Juhi Chaturvedi and Anjum Rajabali.
“When asked if he knows what went wrong with the movie, the 53 years old actor said, “I am not very comfortable talking about these things in public. My film is like my child. So failure is also mine.”
Talking about the film’s release in China, he added, “The audience is free to speak and say what they want to say about me or the film. I am feeling very bad for not entertaining the audience. Next time we will try harder. The China release will be happening next month so let’s see what happens.”
