Veteran Actor Abid Ali who was also a producer and director has passed away in due to Liver disease the actor passed away in Karachi aged 67. The news of his death was confirmed by his wife Rabia Abid Ali and daughter Rahma Ali.
The actor was born in Quetta in 1952 and had worked as an actor, director and producer all his life. He started off working with Radio Pakistan and soon after that he started a successful career as an actor with PTV’s famous drama serial Jhok Sial which came out in 1973. He is mostly known for his role in Waris as Dilawar Khan which aired the television in 1979.
Abid Ali had also directed the drama serial Dasht and also starred in it where he played the role of Shams Shah the drama was a hit in the 90’s. Abid Ali has three daughter including Model Iman Aly and Singer Rahma Ali. His Daughter Rahma has confirmed the news through her Instagram where she posted a story saying “Meray Haathoun mein meray baap nay apni aakhri saansein lay leen. Im sorry I wont be picking any calls at this moment. We can’t do this right now! But since I promised the media a statement, yes he’s GONE!”
The actors Namaz-e-janaza will be offered after the Friday prayers at Bahria town Karachi.
