Actor Kavi Kumar Azad the well known actor for his comedy skills in India’s famous television drama ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has passed away. The actor took his last breath in Mumbai’s Wockhardt Hospital. The actor had suffered a massive heart attack on Monday and sadly could not resist it. The actor had brough many smiles to peoples face with his comedy.

Kavi Kumar Azad used to play the role of Dr. Hasnraj Haathi, the entire team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is shocked and reports have it that the whole cast rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news.

Producer of the show Asit Kumar Modi said “Kavi Kumar Azad was an amazing actor and a very positive person. He truly loved the show and always came for the shoot even if he was not feeling well. He called today morning that he is not well and will not be able to come for the shoot. And later we got the news that he passed away. We are all too numb to say anything.”

Actor Samay Shah who plays the role of Gogi in the drama has some things to say about Kavi Kumar Azad “He always motivated me to work hard. He also has an eating joint called Kusum Rolls. He used to ask me to get him Jain food and I used to tell him to include Jain food in Kusum Rolls’ menu,”Samay shah told to IANS.

Kavi Kumar Azad originated from Bihar and he had moved to Mumbai to try the bollywood film industry. He also appeared in the film Mela and Fun2shh and after that he started doing his role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah where he had gained alot of fame and continued acting in the drama serial.

The actor had brought many smiles to the people especially the kids. The kids used to love him for his jolly character.
