Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan sends his heartiest congratulation and best wishes to his old friend and colleague Rajnikanth for entering into politics.
In a twitter message, Mr Bachchan wished Rajnikanth all the success in his future plans
As soon as Tamil superstar announces about his decision to join politics, celebrities and fans have started sending in their best wishes to him – Kamal Hassan and Anumpum Kher have also appreciated the decision of their old friend.
Rajnikanth while announcing about his decision to enter politics said that he would contest the next (2021) assembly election and would field candidates in all the 234 assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu.
He said, “I am not entering politics for post or position. If I had wanted it, I would have got it in 1996 itself. If at the age of 45 I had not aspired for that, why would I do it at the age of 68?”
The superstar further said,
“My politics will be based on spirituality, not on religion or caste.” “The whole thing has to change. The system has to change. Democracy has been corrupted. It needs to be cleansed ,” he added.
One of the most popular stars of Indian cinema, Rajinikanth has begun his acting career while working in the Bangalore Transport Service as a bus conductor. In 1973, he joined the Madras Film Institute to pursue a diploma in acting. He started his career in small roles in Tamil films and later become the superstar of the industry with his power packed performances in several films.
After earning Rs 26 crore for his role in Sivaji (2007), he was the highest paid actor in Asia after Jackie Chan at the time.
