Disney’s 1942 classic animated film Bambi is under the works and this time the film will be a Live action remake currently Disney has worked on Dumbo, Lion King and their next project is Mulan which is all set to hit the theatres this year.

According to reports Disney studio will be roping in the CGI artists who were used in the film Lion King and Jungle Book to work on the remake of the Live action film. Geneva Robertson-Dworet will be writing the script of the film she has also worked on projects such as Tomb Raider and Captain marvel she will be collaborating with Lindsay Beer for the film.

The films synopsis reads out “Bambi chronicled the story of a young fawn named Bambi as he learns his place in the forest. With his two best friends, a rabbit named Thumper and a skunk named Flower, Bambi comes of age as he faces the joys and heartache of growing up.”

The film will be produced by Chris and Paul Weitz. Disney has been working on Live action remakes since 2010 as the studio first launched Alice In Wonderland which was a box office success followed up by Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin and Lion King which were major hits the studio is currently working on Little Mermaid remake and Bambi.
