Marvel Studios announced a sequel to the blockbuster Marvel film Black Panther. The sequel was announced at the D23 Expo, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige invited Ryan Coogler and with him he had presented and it has been decided that Ryan Coogler will be directing the sequel.
Coogler did not reveal any details about the sequel or the plot however he had told the fans that the wait for the Black Panther sequel will have to be long as he wants the best out of it he said “We worked hard on giving you something special. We really wanted it to be right. We are still working on it.”
In the recent days Martin Freeman who was also seen in the film Black Panther had revealed that he will be part of the sequel in an interview he said “As far as I know, I will be returning. As far as I know, I will be in another Black Panther. That’s my understanding. As to when that will happen, I don’t know.”
Black Panther starred Chadwick Boseman, Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, and Andy Serkis. It tells us the story of T’Challa (Boseman) who returns to his homeland, the fictional African nation of Wakanda. He faces threats from Jordan’s Killmonger and Andy Serkis’s Ulysses Klaue. The film had received positive reviews, not just because of the performances, visuals, and action scenes, but also because of the dominant black cast, positive portrayal of African culture and progressive values.
Black Panther sequel will be hitting the big screens on May 6,2022.
