After a brief hiatus, Irrfan Khan makes a comeback on Twitter!
Actor Irrfan Khan, who was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour two months ago, has taken to his Twitter account to share the poster of his upcoming film Karwaan.
The 51 year old actor who’s currently in London for his treatment, expressed his good wishes to co-stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar.
The tagline on the poster reads, “3 Lost Souls…2 Dead Bodies…A Journey of a Lifetime.”
He tweeted saying, “Beginnings have the innocence that experience can’t buy. My best wishes to @dulQuer , @mipalkar for joining the karwaan. ‘Two karwaans ‘Mine and the movie !! @MrAkvarious @RSVPMovies @RonnieScrewvala.”
Dulquer made a quick reply by tweeting: “Thank you so much sir! Couldn’t have asked for a better beginning than with you! Wishing and praying for your speedy recovery always!”
The tweet arrived over a time frame of two months; his previous tweet was on March 15 in which he revealed about his disease and ailing health.
Watching Irrfan Khan on screen has always been a delight, and we can’t wait to see the combo of two great actors together. Both the actors have collaborated for the first time. The film is all set to release on August 10 this year.
“Karwaan” revolves around three odd birds from different walks of life that are put together on a strange journey which helps them find uniformity in their lives. It has been largely shot in Kerala. The film is directed by debutant Akarsh Khurana and produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
Karwaan marks the Bollywood debut of popular Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan, who is best known for his appearances in films OK Kanmani and Charlie. Mithila Palkar, too, is stepping into Bollywood with this film. She gained popularity through web-series Little Things where she featured alongside Dhruv Sehgal.
