Marvel has just revealed the release date for their upcoming film Captain Marvel sequel. The release date has been announced after the newly updated schedule of Marvel which reveals Captain Marvel will be hitting the big screens on 8th July 2022.
Brie Larson will be coming back once again as Captain Marvel and Megan Mcdonnel has been roped in to pen the script of the film. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck will not be returning to pen the script of the film however the duo are attached with the Marvel Universe and may write and direct a Disney plus series.
Marvel are looking out for a female director who would be helming the film and is planning to release the film in 2022. Currently the details are under the wraps and it is being said the films story will be focusing on the 90’s to the current events of Avengers: Endgame.
Brie Larson’s captain Marvel was also seen in Avengers: Endgame and is the most powerful avenger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe uptil now. The first film grossed over 1.3 billion dollars and was a major success becoming Marvels first female led film.
Captain Marvel was the 21st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it was directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Brie Larson was seen alongside with Samuel Jackson, Clark Gregg, Lee Pace, Jude Law and Gemma Chan who also starred in the film having pivotal roles.
