Captain Marvel is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers or Captain Marvel. This is the first female superhero standalone film in the marvel cinematic universe. The film is being produced under the Marvel cinematic universe. This is going to be the 21st film of the Marvel cinematic universe. Principal photography has already begun in Los Angeles and other parts of the film will also be shot California, New Orleans and different parts of the United States.

The film will be taking us back to the times of 90’s and we will also see Samuel L Jackson a much younger version of the Shield agent and with both of his eyes intact. Captain Marvel will be joining the avengers for the mega war against Thanos in Avengers 4. We are expecting many other female standalone films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and rumors have it that there will be an all-female superhero film.

 

The film will be starring Oscar winning actor Brie Larson who will be playing the lead role as Captain Marvel. She has also been parts of some sci fi films like Kong: Skull Island. Alongside her Samuel Jackson, Clark Gregg, Lee Pace, Jude Law and Gemma Chan will also be starring in the film having pivotal roles. The film is directed by Anna Bonden and Ryan Fleck. The movie’s script has been written by Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, and the directors themselves, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.

The film revolves around the character of Carol Denver who plays Captain Marvel ( Brie Larson) and she becomes the strongest superhero on earth who embarks on a journey to fight between two different alien races. The film is set in the 19th century which has never been shown in other Marvel movies and the film is based on the 1968 comic book Captain Marvel.  Well this is all we know about Captain Marvel and it is all scheduled to release March 8 2019.
