Ryan Reynolds will be seen in the upcoming film Detective Pikachu where he’s going to be seen as a Pokemon. He will be doing the voice behind Pikachu and he will be seen alongside Justice Smith who will be playing the role of Tim in the film. All his life Tim wants to be a Pokemon trainer however when his Father Harry Goodman goes missing, soon after that Tim meets Detective Pikachu. Oh and yes let’s not forget Tim has a special connection with Pikachu as he can understand what he says, then the duo team up to find Tim’s missing father.
The trailer of the film shows us mostly all the Pokemon including Bulbasaur,Mime and many others and the film looks really catchy with the high graphics and a lot can be expected from the film the film will be a must watch for all the Pokemon Fans.

The film also stars Kathryn Newton, Rita Ora, Ken Watanabe, Bill Nighy and Suki Waterhouse. Pokemon has been a 22 year franchise and this will be the first live action film directed Rob Letterman. Justice Smith is also a big fan of Pokemon, he talked to Hollywood reporter “I have all the original generation Pokemon cards,” So does my sister. We used to play the card game all the time even though we didn’t know the rules, We would make up our own rules based off what we knew about the video game and the TV show.”
The official synopsis of the film read out “In the Pokémon universe, Tim Goodman (Justice Smith) is a failed Pokémon Trainer and the son of prominent detective Harry Goodman. When his father disappears in a car crash, Tim arrives in Ryme City and ends up meeting Detective Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds) who was Harry’s former Pokémon partner. Tim is somehow able to understand the Detective and they reluctantly team up to find Harry and uncover the mystery surrounding his disappearance.”
The film will be released by Warner Bros. the film will be hitting the screens Real 3D on May 2019. This will be the first Live action film in the Pokemon franchise.
