The next installment in the Die Hard franchise is finally in the making and the new part has a title now. The next adventure of Bruce Willis’ John McClane is named simply McClane. McClane is said to be about a younger John McClane and is a prequel of all the parts where we will be discovering the life John Mclane the action man. However according to Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Bruce Willis’ 60-year-old John McClane (Bruce Willis) will be as much a part of the movie.

Die Hard Next Installment Finally Gets A Title ‘Mclane’

Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura said in an interview with empire magazine “We want you to get invested in John McClane more than ever before. I don’t know how you do Die Hard without Bruce. The idea that he’s not very significant in this movie is not accurate at all. We are gonna explore John McClane in his twenties. But just as prominent is the 60-year-old version.”

Die Hard, launched in 1988 and is one of the most loved action movie franchises because of all the badass action it has, all those explosions and gunshots really make the film a must watch. After 1988’s Die Hard, Die Hard 2 came out in 1990, which was then followed by Die Hard with a Vengeance in 1995. After 12 years, in 2007, the fourth part in the franchise came out titled as, Live Free or Die Hard. The last Die Hard film was A Good Day to Die Hard which hit screens in 2013.

Bruce Willis was last seen in Death Wish, the remake of the 1974 film with the same name. He is also waiting for an addition to other old franchises. Glass will be the third film and the last part to M Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable series, which began with Unbreakable in 2000.
