The Baaghi 2 actress will play a trapeze artiste in a 1960s circus. Her character plays an important part and her role is not a brief one.She will be seen romancing Salman during his younger days in the movie.

The circus portion in Bharat is director Ali Abbas Zafar’s tribute to his idol Raj Kapoor and his cult film, Mera Naam JokerAli Abbas Zafar welcomed the actress on twitter and further revealed about Disha’s Character:

Disha, who is a few films old in the industry, has already started preparation for Bharat. She has to undergo several training programs and learn the art to portray a circus artiste, as trapeze artistes are known for their skill and agility.

Bharat is an onscreen adaptation of 2014 South Korean movie Ode To My Father. This will mark the director and Salman Khan’s third collaboration and Priyanka’s fourth film with the 52 year old superstar.

Bharat has started its prep in London, after which director Zafar will move to Spain, Poland, Portugal, and Malta.

The film will feature Khan sporting five different looks spanning 60 years, wherein a crucial part will showcase the actor in his late 20s, looking much leaner and younger.

Bharat is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, will release on Eid 2019.
