James Cameron Avatar has just got a new release date as James Cameron has decided to move the release forward. Since Disney’s acquisition of 71.3 billion dollars of fox was completed in March, Fox had not come out with some big money projects and after the announcement made on Tuesday, it has been confirmed that the long awaited Avatar is getting postponed.

The makers of Avatar also made this announcement on Twitter where they wrote “Now scheduled to land on Pandora December 17, 2021.” At the first the movie was scheduled to come out in December 2020 and because of this postpone sequels of the film have moved to 2023, 2025 and 2027 well we guys have to wait for a long time for the film.

James Cameron Avatar came out in 2009 and the film had grossed 2.8 billion dollars a world record however Disney’s endgame is in the race to make a new record as it has earned 2.2 billion dollars in the span of two weeks.  Not only this but Disney has also dated eight marvel film in the upcoming three and a half years which will all be post Endgame.

While Fox has shelved some its ideas or have moved their films forward and on the other hand Disney is coming up with some big hands as it ready to rake money in Summer with Lion King, Toy Story 4 and Aladdin.

Cathleen Taff head of distribution for Disney said in a statement “With a strong summer already in place, we are eager to carry that momentum forward over the coming years thanks to a creative wellspring of bold and imaginative stories coming from our world-class studios.”
