Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt who will be seen in the upcoming superhero film Ball and Chain have just revealed that their film will not be hitting the big screens however the film go on streaming services. The duo will also be seen in the upcoming Disney film Jungle Cruise but that film has now been pushed back from its actual release due to Covid-19.

The film will be hitting Netflix and this will Dwayne’s second film which will be hitting Netflix after his first film Red Notice hit the streaming service which also starred Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.  Dwayne Johnson said in a recent interview “One of our main initiatives at Seven Bucks is to continue to find the best platforms to tell stories that entertain and inspire on a global scale. Netflix is the perfect partner to deliver this epic superhero/romantic comedy experience alongside us, and we’re excited to be back in business with the Netflix team. I’m also excited to not only reunite with dear friend Emily Blunt in front of the camera, but to also collaborate as producing partners as we bring Emily V. Gordon’s script to life.”

The film will be an adaptation of the same name and the story will be revolving around a couple who are struggling with their married life however they have superpowers but their superpowers only work when they are together.

Currently the film has no release date.
