Fantastic Beasts 3 the third film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise will start filming in February 2020. The news was revealed by Dan Folger who plays the role of No-Maj Baker in the film.

As we all know Fantastic Beasts is a film based on the wizards world and it is from the Harry Potter universe however the events set in Fantastic Beasts are events that took place before Harry Potter.

Jude Law plays the role of a Younger Dumbledore, Eddie Redmayne plays the role of Newt Scamander and Johnny Depp plays the role of Gellert Grindelwald a dark sorceress before Voldemort.

Recently Dan Folger stated in an interview “We haven’t started filming yet. We start in February. Last we heard, J.K. … she’s been writing furiously, everyone was really happy with what she submitted, and we’re all just waiting for the new script. And that’s where we’re at.”

He further added on “I hope that he gets Queenie back. I haven’t seen a script yet, and I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, and I think it will be funny if  you know how she put a spell on me to follow her around like a puppy? What if she also put a spell on me to get fit?”

Fantastic Beasts 2 was commercial failure as the film had got a 36% score on Rotten Tomatoes and the film had only earned 637 million making it the least earned film in the Harry Potter Franchise.
