Fatima Effendi is back on the television screens once again after a long break. The actor had taken a break from acting when she was blessed with a son Almir. The actress tied the knot to Kanwar Arsalan in 2012. Fatima Effendi started her career as a child actress in 2001 and since then she has performed many drama serials. The actor made her debut with the drama ‘Chal Jhooti’ which aired on PTV.
Fatima Effendi will be seen in the upcoming drama serial ‘Aye Dil Tu Bata’ when asked about her upcoming drama serial she told us “So the play goes around this girl Aqsa who lost her father at a very young age and she and her mom live with her uncle and aunt (chacha chachi) and their son Azaan played by Bilal Qureshi. She shares a very special bond with Azaan because they live in one house and he’s totally dependent on her even when it comes to choosing a shirt to wear. They’re best friends and he keeps teasing her all time. She’s a perky girl yet very responsible at the same time. She is always belittled by her chachi who doesn’t like her casual relation with her son. She wants her son to marry her niece. Meanwhile aqsa’s mom thinks she has a good chemistry with Azaan and should marry him so that she stays in the same house after marriage. Aqsa and Azaan are only good friends but Aqsa gives her mom’s wish a thought and starts thinking about Azaan as someone she could spend her life with. But things take a turn and Azaan gets engaged to his cousin as per his mom’s wish and Aqsa gets married to her other cousin Ahmed( played by Ali Ansari). Things take an interesting turn after that.”
The cast of the drama includes Bilal Qureshi, Ali Ansari, Tanveer Jamal, Arooba, Humera Bano, Beena Chaudhry, Maria Khan, Sabiha Hashmi. Fatima Effendi shared her experience with the team and cast and this is what she told us “I had a very great working experience working on this project with 7sky entertainment. Im expecting a lot from this project. We had been planning this project for more than 3 years and the script was ready and it took time to go on set but it was all worth it.”
