Although the ban of Pakistani stars working in Bollywood has caused a serious setback to the glittering career of many local stars but it hasn’t stopped them shinning internationally. Pakistan’s heartthrob Fawad Khan, who has been last seen in Karan Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Muskhil, has recently been approached for an important role in a web series.
Reportedly, the actor has given his nod for a family drama, which is touted to be a five-episode series.
“Fawad has a huge fan following and after exploring television and films, now there are many makers who has been approaching him for web series. The actor also seems keen to work on a web series,” a source told an Indian newspaper, Deccan Chronicle.
As far as local industry is considered, the Kapoor & Sons star is currently busy in the shoot of revamped version of the cult-classic Maula Jatt, starring alongside Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malick.
To get into the skin of the role, the actor has beefed up and gained a few kilos too.
Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut with a blockbuster film, Khoobsurat, alongside Sonam Kapoor. The film has certainly opened avenues for him and he ends up giving back to back hits in Indian cinema including Kapoor and Sons and Ae Dil Hai Muskhil.
Unfortunately, the ban on Pakistani actors working in Bollywood has affected his career too but it hasn’t taken away its stardom from it. He is still considered as the hottest celebrity in India and girls go gaga over his charming personality.
The news about his appearance in a web series has once again brought him in a limelight and all his fans are looking forward to see him essaying an interesting role in a web series.
