It’s her intelligence and her charming persona that has kept the audience impressed with every performance of her. Iqbal has always gone the unconventional way as far as her roles are concerned. From ‘Meray Khwab Raiza Raiza’ to ‘My Dear Sotan’ she has often portrayed strong women oriented characters. Iqbal is growing from strength to strength with each new projects in the pipeline.

Sumbul in conversation with Celebdhaba opened up about her exciting professional life.

I am really excited for my drama serial with HUM TV titled ‘Jaal’. It is directed by Mohsin Talat, written by Seema Munaf and produced by Moomal Entertainment. Jaal is based on a true story. I am excited to share screen space for the first time with Imran Ashraf and Ali Kazmi.

The plot revolves around the journey of a girl who goes through a serious issue prevailing in the society. She has to face the consequences arising from the society. I can’t reveal much about it, as it is very special to me. The cast, look and story will surely be a breath of fresh air for the audiences.

I have another project ‘Barfi Laddo’ coming up which is produced by idreams entertainment. It is written by the maestro of words Dr. Yonus Butt. The project will be on air from March 2019.

The good thing about both the projects is that they are both different from each other. The audience will get to see a diversified side of my personality.

Celebdhaba wishes Sumbul Iqbal all the very best.
