The trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife is out and it looks fun. The fourth film in the franchise will be a direct sequel to the first and second parts of the film and will be following the story from the first two parts. The film has been directed by Jason Reitman who had also helmed the first two parts of the film.

The sequel will be following the story of two kids played by Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace plan to find the house of their grandfather who was the actual ghostbuster. When the kids make it to the town some supernatural activities start happening and that is when they decide to team up with their mom and use all the old Ghostbusters equipment and start catching ghosts.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife official synopsis reads out “From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan.”

Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be hitting the theatres on 10 July 2020.
