Hameed Sheikh makes his Hollywood debut with The Man from Kathmandu
Hollywood has made films revolving around the terrorist groups. Terrorism is the systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion. Some films focus on the ongoing hardships, while others show people fleeing from the terrorists. Still others show people living under the oppressive regime, with no way to escape.
Hollywood is the largest and most lucrative film industry in the world. We are always seeing celebs taking the leap and starting a fresh career with their movie journeys.
One of the finest talents of Pakistan, Hameed Sheikh of Moor fame is all set to make waves with his Hollywood debut “The Man from Kathmandu” (Not a Super Hero, A Super Hero)

The cast of the movie includes: Karma Shakya, Anna Sharma, Joes Manuel, Paramita RL Rana, Gulshan Grover, Nir Shah, Shisheer Bangdel.
Speaking to Celebdhaba, Hameed revealed exclusive details about the project:
I play a Hindu priest in Nepal. He owns a party which has a strong influence and monopoly on others. By his blessings he can secure anyone a strong position.
Pema Dhondup Gakiyil is from Nepal who works for Hollywood. He had seen some of my work. I was asked to give an audition via skype, therefore I bagged the role.
The work experience has been phenomenal. It was great working with Bollywood’s bad man Gulshan Grover who has a pivotal role in the film.
The film is directed and written by Pema Dhondup Gakiyil. It is produced by both countries Nepal and USA.
We have quite a few Nepali actors on board. The project is bankrolled by Nakim Uddin who is one of the richest producers of Nepal.
I would surely like to bring my debut Hollywood venture to Pakistan. Our cinema is very commercial though, I have plans for a special screening or maybe a premier.
