The next Hunger Games book will be coming out next month and it will titled as ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ and yes you guess might have guessed right Lionsgate is also planning a film a fourth part in the Hunger Games franchise however the book will be a prequel to the first three books that’s means all the events will be taken place before the actual Hunger Games events.

Collin’s dystopian famous book Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mocking Jay sold around 10 million copies worldwide and Lionsgate earned a whopping of 3 billion US dollars globally with their adaptation films of the book, Jennifer Lawrence had starred in the film as the lead role playing the role of Katniss Everdeen.

Francis Lawrence will be returning as the film’s director, and Suzanne Collins will be executive- producing the project with Michael Arndt attached as the film’s scriptwriter. Suzanne Collins recently said in an interview “Lionsgate has always been the cinematic home of ‘The Hunger Games,’ and I’m delighted to be returning to them with this new book, From the beginning, they have treated the source material with great respect, honoring the thematic and narrative elements of the story, and assembling an incredible team both in front of and behind the camera. It’s such a pleasure to be reuniting with Nina, Francis, and Michael to adapt the novel to the screen, and having them share their remarkable talents, once again, with the world of Panem.”

Well due to covid-19 there has been no casting however Lionsgate has confirmed they will be working on the fourth film in the franchise.
