It was only a few days back when we could not stop taking pride in Saba Qamar for venturing into Hollywood and stated that she’d be the first ever crossover Pakistani actor to work in Hollywood.  But lo and behold…another one of our famous stars is also all set to spread his magic in the Hollywood kingdom and it’s none other than the very handsome Imran Abbas.

Abbas has reportedly signed a British film. And according to The Express Tribune, the renowned actor will be playing the role of a spy who is from a Syrian-Moroccan descent. “I have many get-ups in the film and I will be seen in about six to seven disguises as I play the lead protagonist.”

Titled ‘The Trojan Horse’, Abbas revealed that the film is shot at a number of different locations including Tukey, US and Europe amongst others. He also stated that the filming will commence in July and the major chunk of the movie will be shot during October.

Abbas has decided to stay mum about his costars for now but has said that both the cast and crew will be from Hollywood. Wow! We surely cannot contain our excitement.

When asked if he would stop acting for the local screens, Abbas said that he has no such plans and that he knows his roots well. “Of course, not. Even when I was working in Bollywood, I did not forget my Pakistani roots. I’ve reached heights because of the local dramas that I’ve worked in.”

Abbas further said: “I will be taking a break from local productions but I will return after my gap as international projects require immense dedication and commitment.”

The actor also promised to disclose more details about his movie next month.
