Sony has revealed that they will be postponing the production of Morbius due to Covid-19. The film was slated for a 31st July release however now Sony has cleared the confusions and the Jared Leto starrer will be hitting the theatres next year March 19 as revealed by the makers.

After Jared Leto failed to impress the audience as Joker in Suicide Squad, he had now made a comeback to the comic book world and this time he has joined the Marvel Universe as Moribius. He will be playing the role of a Nobel Prize winner doctor however he has a rare blood disease. He finds a cure for the disease however the cure turns him into a Vampire with superhuman abilities.

The films official synopsis reads out “One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.”

The makers of the film have promised a really good storyline with some really amazing special effects. Looks like everyone has to wait till next year for their favorite films.
