Popular Indian television star Jennifer Winget is all excited for her digital debut in movie, Phir Se, alongside movie critic and host Kunal Kohli.

Jennifer Winget was supposed to make her Bollywood debut with Phir Se but it couldn’t release in domestic markets due to copyrights issue. Later, the makers decided to launch it on a digital platform while skipping a theatrical release.

The actress has been really excited about this project and keeps high hopes from it.

“A lot of love and hard work went into making this film and the delay undeniably disheartened us all – cast and crew alike. So waking up today to see the film on Netflix is just the tops! The producers obviously felt better about a worldwide release over just releasing in theatres across the country. The final purpose of every film is to reach maximum eyeballs and with Netflix, we’re bound to get just that.”, she said

She further added that for the first few seconds this big move by the makers seemed surreal to her. “But I have to admit I froze for the first few seconds just trying to fathom this was really happening; it was a surprise that came out of the blue. To have the world watch it is both, exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time,” she added.

Directed by Kunal Kohli and Ajay Bhuyan, the film narrated a story of a separated couple living in London, trying to come to terms with the consequences of their split.

The studded cast of the film also included Sumona Chakravarti, Rajit Kapoor, Dalip Tahil, Kanwaljeet Singh and Sushmita Mukherjee. The film has been entirely shot in London and its music has been done composed by Jeet Gannguli and lyrics have been done by Rashmi Singh.
