Kangana Ranaut is in the news again for all the wrong reasons!
A clapboard photo from the sets of Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika (The Queen of Jhansi) recently raised a few eyebrows.
The clapboard of the Krish Jagarlamudi directorial showed Kangana as the director of the project has gone viral.
However team Kangana Ranaut has posted on twitter:
Krish Jagarlamudi is the director of #Manikarnika and will remain so. #KanganaRanaut has stepped in to shoot just the patchwork on his behalf while he fulfills his commitments in another movie, to make sure that #Manikarnika releases on 25th Jan 2019. The clapboard is merely to avoid on set confusion
Not only that, actor Sonu Sood has decided to leave “Manikarnika” due to last minute changes.
Apparently, when Kangana tried to tell Sood what to do on the sets, Sood, a skilled and experienced actor who has done memorable roles in three Indian languages, retaliated strongly and finally left the film.
Sonu will be seen playing a grey character in Rohit Shetty’s “Simmba”, and has grown a beard as part of his look. But the actor was supposed to have a clean shaven look in “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi”.
Bollywood Hungama has reported: Says a very reliable source from the film, “Yes, Sonu has left the film. He is no longer a part of Manikarnika. And he has informed the film’s producers of his decision. He took a lot of crap from a person who feels she knows how to direct a film without any real qualification to do so. But finally, when Kangana Ranaut officially took over the direction, Sonu could take it no more. He quit the film.”
This is not the first time that Kangana has faced such questions.
The actress earlier had a nasty fall out with Simran writer Apurva Asrani, with the latter blaming her for stealing writing credits.

A legal tussle with Hrithik Roshan.
Read an interesting quote. ‘Acting is all about being real. If u can fake that , you’v got it made’ pic.twitter.com/uiygfjfPAz

Manikarnika is a crucial film for Kangana as the film is mounted on a massive scale to justify the extraordinary story of Rani of Jhansi, her courage, strength, and her great love for the country.
Kangana’s last three releases Katti Batti, Rangoon and Simran proved to be big debacles at the box office. Kangana will also be seen in”Mental Hai Kya” with Rajkummar Rao which releases on Feb 22, 2019.
