Well looks like Kevin hart has said goodbye to the Oscars Family. Kevin Hart posted a video on his official Instagram account in which he said that the Academy has asked Kevin Hart to apologize for his old tweets however he chose to pass on his role as the host.

Just after two days when the actor was chosen as the host of the Oscars 2019 he stepped down from the role he also posted on his official twitter account where he made the announcement the actor wrote “I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscar’s….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.”

Hart stepped down from the role just after an hour he refused to apologize for his tweets that resurfaced the internet after he was selected for the Oscars host. In a video posted by Hart on his Instagram he said that the Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts Sciences gave him an ultimatum, the ultimatum was “apologize or “we’re going to have to move on and find another host.”

Kevin Hart said in the video “I chose to pass on the apology the reason why I passed is because I’ve addressed this several times.” Kevin Hart also tweeted “I’m sorry that I hurt people.. I am evolving and want to continue to do so. My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart.  Much love & appreciation to the Academy.  I hope we can meet again.”

Looks like someone else will be hosting the Oscars 2019.
