Kevin Hart announced his selection for the 91st Oscar Awards in an Instagram post on Tuesday. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences welcomed Kevin Hart to the family with a tweet.  Kevin Hart has now has new job and the new job is that he will host the 2019 Oscar Awards. The comedian has said that he will now be fulfilling a dream that he always wanted to do.

Hollywood reporter had posted a story saying calling out all the Oscar Host Position “The least Wanted Job In Hollywood.” Kevin Hart was also included in the list and he wrote on his official Instagram account “I am blown away simply because this has been a goal on my list for a long time…To be able to join the legendary list of hosts that have graced this stage is unbelievable,” Hart wrote. “I know my mom is smiling from ear to ear right now.”

He further added on “I will be sure to make sure this year’s Oscars are a special one.” Kevin Hart will be taking this job from Jimmy Kimmel who hosted the award ceremony for the last two years starting from 2016. Last Year film ceremonies did not go as expected and there have been some changes in the categories as well.

Celebrities including Martin Lawrence and Chris Rock, who hosted the ceremony in 2005 and 2016, posted congratulatory messages about Hart’s selection Tuesday night. The rock also congratulated Kevin Hart by posting on Instagram saying “Damn I’ve lost another job to Kevin Hart.”
