Director Matt Reeves has revealed that he and the Batman team has already shot 25 percent of the film, the film has been able to complete quarter of its spell before this halt.
Speaking in an interview the director revealed “We’re not officially editing right now. We’ve actually shot a quarter of the movie and I have been pouring through dailies, looking at takes, and what’s to come, I can’t imagine we wouldn’t finish in London. The situation is fluid.”
Speaking about the films story he said “It happens any time you shoot anything… It feels like there might be an opportunity to explore some of that unexpected tone that we found. With these movies, you never have enough prep time, because they’re so complex and so enormous in so many ways, It also gives me a moment to think about the larger sequences that have yet to come up and how I want to realize those.”
John Turturro will be playing the role of Carmine Faclone the head of the Falcone Crime Family he is also the biggest mobster in gotham. Actor Paul Dano has also been roped in to play the role of the Riddler and the makers will also be introducing us to a catwoman which will be layed by Zoe Kravtiz whereas commissioner Gordon will be played by Jeffrey Wright.
