In a recently shared video on Facebook, the actor made the big announcement about his new venture.
In a video he takes up the classic avatar from the hit 2006 show, Ishrat Baaji and makes a mockery on the current issues in his signature style and reveals that the show will be aired soon.
“Tee ree pon pon tee ree pon ponn!! Apka bhai jald aarhaa hy social media ki bajanyyy,” the actor wrote on his page.
Ishraj Baaji was originally aired on Aag TV in 2006. Directed by Diesel Chandio and written by Ayesha Malik & Khurram Malik, the popular satirical show starred Mohib Mirza as Ishrat Baaj. The other popular character from the show included Hafeez Mama and Nadia.
The show was known for its satirical narrative. The story revolved around the eponymous character, whose name became the center of ridicule for its gender-neutrality.
Although Ishrat Baaji has been a popular character of its times and we have to now see how it gets fits in current digital scenario.
Mirza made his debut on television in Sahira Kazmi’s popular PTV drama serial Zebunnisa. Since then he has acted in numerous television serials, telefilms, sitcoms and TV commercials. He won an international award in Best Supporting Actor category at the International Filmmaker Film Festival held in Kent, England.
