NADRA launches a Mobile Registration Van to get new CNIC for citizens
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched Mobile registration Van computerized national identity documents and completion of all the requirements of public registration in remote areas through mobile registration cars. Yes, now citizens don’t need to stand in long queues for hours to get new CNIC, or even renewed.
Mobile registration Van by the order of Chairman, Usman Yousaf Mobin, NADRA has launched this plan to get further speedy steps towards providing national identity card to individuals who could not get their cards due to long queues. The action was taken by Supreme Court of Pakistan and Election Commision of Pakistan, for the people of rural areas of NADRA Regional Office Punjab, Lahore Region’s districts Lahore, Gujranwala, Narowal, Sialkot, Sheikhopura, Nankana, and Kasur.
The 3-months project is lead by NADRA Punjab Director General, Lahore Region, Syed Saqlain Abbas Bukhari by the name of “Nadra Mobile Registration Car”.
