The 90th Academy Awards ceremony or the Oscars, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), honored the best films of 2017 and took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California the show was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

While The Shape of Water took home the Best Picture Oscar, Darkest Hour star Gary Oldman won the best actor Oscar. And Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri star Frances McDormand won the and Best Actress Oscar. The Shape of Water won four Academy Awards at the 90th Oscars followed by Dunkirk that raked up three awards. Among the animation films, Pixar’s Coco came out victorious picking up the Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song Oscars. Also, Legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant came out of retirement to collect the Best Animated Short Film Oscar for Dear Basketball.
