The Parineeta Chopra and Arjun Kumar starrer ‘Namaste England’ was earlier supposed to release on December 9, 2018. However, thanks to the smooth shooting schedule, the makers have changed their plan and have now decided to release the film on October 19, during the Dussehra weekend, as reported by a press release.

Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, ‘Namaste England’ is the sequel to 2007’s hit ‘Namaste London’ that starred vivacious beauty Katrina Kaif along with Akshay Kumar in lead roles.

The film has been shot in super beautiful, never-seen-before locations of Punjab and the team is now occupied with finishing up the last spell of the shoot.

‘Namaste England’ narrates the story of two young individuals and their journey from Punjab to England. This is the second film after ‘Ishaqzaade’ which will see the two bubbly stars together.

Confirming the news, Arjun tweeted, “Entertain karne aa rahe hai thoda jaldi. (Coming to entertain you a bit early) #NamasteEngland releases this Dussehra!”“Dussehra it is! #NamasteEngland,” wrote Parineeti.

There were rounds of Sonakshi Sinha being roped in to play the female lead role for the film. In fact, there have also been rumours of Anushka Sharma being approached to play the lead role alongside Akshay Kumar. The final news came when both Arjun Kapoor and Parineeta Chopra shared the poster of the film on Twitter during February.

Besides reuniting for ‘Namaste England’, the lively couple will also be seen together spreading their magic in Dibakar Banerjee’s romantic thriller, ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ which will release on August 3.
