After a gap of almost ten years, Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan are all set to grace the silver screen together in Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film, Bharat.
According to filmfare magazine, Quantico star, Priyanka Chopra is in Mumbai these days and Ali Abbas Zafar has offered her a new film, Bharat, alongside Dabaang Khan.
A source close to the film revealed, “Priyanka has also worked with Ali in Gunday (2014) and shares a good rapport with him. This film will see the three of them(Salman, Priyanka and Ali) collaborate for the first time.”
The film spans over 70 years and is about a man who witnesses some of the most important happenings of Indian History. It is the Indian adaptation of the Korean film, Ode to My Father.
Salman Khan worked with Priyanka Chopra in the film God Tussi Great Ho in the year 2008. It’s been almost ten years that both the actors haven’t signed any project together. Meanwhile, on their personal front, in the span of ten years both actors have managed to reach to new heights of stardom. While Priyanka Chopra has made her name on the international front, Dabaang Khan has been ruling the local industry with his back to back blockbuster films.
Salman and Priyanka have worked together in three films till date that include, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, Salaam- e-Ishq and God Tussi Great Ho.
Ali Abbas Zafar has worked with Salman Khan in films like Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan. The director while talking about his third collobration with Salman Khan said that viewers’ expectations frightened him.
“I know that after two back-to-back hits with him, people have huge expectations. I know I have to deliver the best, that there is a challenge, a pressure that I am feeling already,” he said.
