Pakistan Media Regulatory Authority has come hard on ARY Digital morning show host Nida Yasir and has issued a notice to her for not pronouncing the name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) correctly during the live show.
The official statement posted by PEMRA on its official Twitter account state that the gesture of the morning show host has deeply hurt the sentiments of Muslims viewers.
“This casual attitude on the part of the host is quite unprofessional and had hurts sentiments of vast majority of Muslim viewers,” the statement read.

It has also been mentioned in the notification that channel management has once again advised to install time-delay mechanism so that inappropriate word/content couldn’t be aired during the live show.
PEMRA has also advised the channel and the host to be “be mindful of the religious sensitivities and practiced norms in true spirit to that no wrong message is disseminated among the viewers.”
Actor turned morning show host, Nida Yasir has been associated with ARY Digital Network for many years. Her morning show airs live on the channel from Monday to Friday at 9 am.
