Priyanka opened up about why she chose to pen a memoir at this age and stage and more so, encouraged others to turn authors for their life stories themselves.
“The feeling of checking something off your “bucket list” gives you an indescribable sense of accomplishment…and that’s where I am in this moment. I’ve always wanted to write a book, but the timing never felt right. With each opportunity that presented itself, my first instinct was always to wait…because I wasn’t (and I’m still not) finished,” she wrote in an elaborate Instagram post.
The memoir, which is being published by Penguin Random House India, will be published simultaneously in India, the US and Britain next year.
“The flavour of the book will be honest, funny, spirited, bold, and rebellious, just like me,” said Priyanka, who had first step into the entertainment industry at the age of 17 when she won Miss India and went on to win Miss World the following year. Her journey from then is nothing short of a textbook example of a life well lived, living rather. (Quote Source: Priyanka Chopra Instagram)
