Quentin Tarantino has confirmed that he will be following the Chris Pine timeline in his Star Trek film if he gets the chance to direct the film after he is done with film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Quentin Tarantino is also struggling to make a web series of the Star Trek timelines as he had revealed in an interview where he said “Well, it’s an idea then we got together and talked it out and then we hired Mark Smith, who did Revenant to write the script. I don’t know how much I can say. The one thing I can say is it would deal with the Chris Pine timeline.”

He further added on “Now, I still don’t quite understand, and JJ [Abrams] can’t explain it to me, and my editor has tried to explain it to me and I still don’t get it…about something happened in the first movie that now kind of wiped the slate clean. I don’t buy that. I don’t like it. I don’t appreciate it. I want the whole series to have happened, it just hasn’t happened yet. No, Benedict Cumberbatch or whatever his name is is not Khan, alright? Khan is Khan. And I told JJ, like, ‘I don’t understand this. I don’t like it.’ And then he was like, ‘Ignore it! Nobody likes it. I don’t understand it. Just do whatever you want. If you want it to happen the exact way it happens on the series it can.”

If Quentin gets a chance to helm Star Trek it will be his final film and if he does not get the chance, then the director will be hanging the director hat with his film Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

Writer and director whose ninth film will be Once Upon A Time in Hollywood which will be releasing soon and will be starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Brad Pitt in the titular roles, in a recent interview the director has said “I think when it comes to theatrical movies, I’ve come to the end of the road. I see myself writing film books and starting to write theatre, so I’ll still be creative. I just think I’ve given all I have to give to movies.”
