Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam to croon for Namaste England
Pakistani singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam have lent their voice to a couple of tracks in Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming Namaste England.
The Ishqzade duo is teaming up for the second time in Namaste England.
The film is directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, who previously directed Namaste London.
Namaste London was a blockbuster at the box office and the songs also topped the chart busters.
The chemistry between Akshay and Katrina was highly applauded across all spheres.
Due to the Indo – Pak arch rivalry, Pakistani Artist have been banned since 2016 post Uri attacks. Since then, Rahat has been working on his Bollywood commitments from the Middle East or in his home country, sending the tracks across digitally.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has previously sung for Namastey London “Main Jahaan Rahoon”. The song continues to be one of the most memorable tracks till date. He will be reuniting with Javed Akhtar for another soulful track.
Talking about it, composer Mannan Shah stated: “It’s sheer pleasure to have recorded “Tu Meri Main Tera” with Rahat sahab, I’ve always been a big fan of his voice. The song was well-received. Our second association had to be a special one and what better than Namaste England.”
