Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor to lock horns post Eid!

The two most awaited films of the year Race 3 and Sanju are all set to clash together at the Box Office in Pakistan.

Both the magnum opus projects are being released on June 29 in Pakistan. In India, their release dates are June 15 and June 29 respectively.

Salman Khan film release has been postponed in Pakistan is due to the restriction on releasing Indian films two days before Eid and two weeks after.

A lot of excitement and buzz has been created amongst the audience in Pakistan, especially for the film Sanju, a biopic where Ranbir plays Sanjay Dutt and directed by Rajkumar Hirani (the director with 100% success track record)

For Ranbir, he is going through quite an unlucky phase in his career. After tasting profound success with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013, which almost got close to the Rs. 200 crore mark, the talented actor was touted as the next big thing. Post, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, his next flick Besharam bombed. The actor was then missing from cinemas for more than a year and then finally came with Roy, in which he played the second fiddle.

It was no surprise that the film quickly sank at the box office and turned out to be Ranbir’s second back to back flop. This was followed by Bombay Velvet, the mother of all disasters. Six months later, he came back with Tamasha, which got critical acclaim but failed to ring the cash registers at the box office.

Ranbir is pinning all hopes on Sanju to bring him back on track. It is also expected to be a blockbuster, considering its controversial subject.
