Salman Khan’s “Sultan” to debut in China on August 31, 2018
Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer wrestling drama Sultan, which was a blockbuster back home, is all set to release in China on August 31, 2018.
Salman Khan played the role of Sultan Ali Khan, a middle-aged, out-of-shape ex-wrestling star who goes back to the ring to win back the love of his estranged wife, Aarfa.
Sultan is among the top grossing films in Bollywood, which made over Rs. 320 crore in India.

Sultan, now, becomes the sixth Bollywood film to release in China after a series of films including Hindi Medium, Secret Superstar, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Baahubali 2 and Toilet (Ek Prem Katha) which performed phenomenally well at the Chinese Box Office.
Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar are busy with their third film together titled Bharat. The film stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff and Nora Fatehi. The film is set to hit the screens on Eid-2019 next year.

Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of Sultan is very excited for its China release. As China has become a huge market for Indian films, the makers are excited to see how the audience in China will react after watching Sultan.
Over the years the Chinese market has proven to be successful for Hindi films, therefore encouraging the makers to release more films.
Sultan also became the first Indian film in China to win the Jackie Chan award at the Shanghai International Film Festival 2017.
