Sana Mir former ODI and T20I Captain for Pakistan Women’s Cricket team has topped the bowling chart with 663 points. The International Cricket Council ODI’s women’s bowler rankings were released on Tuesday. Sana Mir the right arm off break bowler tops the chart with 663 points, Australia’s Megan Schutt is on second with 660 points and South Africa’s  Marrizzane Kapp is on third with 643 points.

Sana Mir the Pakistani Off Break bowler took this news to her personal twitter account where she tweeted “Alhamdolillah ! Thanks to the Almighty for giving me strength to keep going.Thanks to my parents,family,friends & mentor for unconditional love.This is a team effort of support staff and players  who have helped me excel. I Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart.”

She also tweeted “I would also like to thank @ICC for providing us regular opportunities to play with the big teams through ICC women Championship and to Coach Mark Coles , who chose to look at my skill rather than my age. To @TheRealPCB for upgrading our support staff ,so we are better equipped.”

Sana Mir the 32 year old former captain was part of the team that played Australia in the ICC Women;s championship Series despite losing 3-0 Sana Mir regained her position at the top of the the list however the Pakistan Women’s International Team has moved down to number 6 in Top 10 power rankings just above South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Sana Mir had great stats in the series against Australia where she picked up wickets in all the three matches (3/26, 1/37 and 3/53). Sana Mir made her debut with the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team back in 2005 against Sri Lanka in Karachi. She has a total 1558 ODI runs and 757 T20I runs whereas she has a total of 212 wickets to her name.
