Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is leaving no stone unturned to impress everyone in her debut silver screen appearance. Reportedly, the actress has been all set to shoot a special underwater sequel with Ms Dhoni fame Sushant Singh Rajput in her debut film, Kedarnath.
Filmfare magazine has reported that Sushant and Sara will be shooting special underwater sequences for the film on April 28 at a specially-constructed facility at Khopoli, on the outskirts of Mumbai.
A source close to the project confirmed the same to a daily saying, “Abhishek Kapoor, who has been bailed out by Ronnie Screwvala, is going ahead with full gusto. The shoot for the underwater sequences will be done with both the lead actors.”
Kedarnath has been directed and co-produced by Abishek Kapoor. It is a love story based on true life events which had taken place in 2013. As the film is based on Uttarakhand floods, there is a portion in the film where Sara’s character will be saved from drowning by Sushant. The director, apparently, has to shoot this part on April 28.
According to Indian newspapers some part of the shooting was already done earlier in the first schedule at Uttarakhand, it will be matched with some underwater footage that will be canned in this schedule.
Kedarnath is slated to release on December 21, 2018 and set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film Zero.
After completing the shoot of Kedarnath, Sara Ali Khan will start preparation for the second big film of her career, Simbaa, opposite Ranveer Singh. Produced by Karan Johar, the film will be directed by Rohit Shetty of Golmaal series fame.
