Mission Impossible 7 is in the works and Simon Pegg is the first actor from the cast who has announced his comeback to the franchise. The 49 year old British actor plays the role tech guru Benji Dunn in the franchise and is the right hand to tom Cruise providing him with all the equipment for his top secret missions.

After the success of Mission Impossible: Fallout which is the 6th film in the franchise, the makers announce that they will be working on a 7th and 8th part as well. Tom cruise had announced that he will be continuing to play the role of Agent Ethan Hunt which he has been playing since 1996 and he has also announced that the 7th and 8th part in the franchise will be hitting the big screens in Summer 2021 and 2022.

The upcoming parts will be directed by Christopher Mcquarrie who also helmed Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and Mission Impossible: Fallout. He will be returning to the director’s chair once again he also confirmed this news via his official twitter account.

The franchise started back in 1996 and uptil 2019 the franchise has introduced us to 6 total films that have raked huge amounts of money at the silver screens and we have been able to witness 6 awesome adventures of Agent Ethan Hunt.
