Thor: Ragnarok star Chris Hemsworth is in negotiation with Sony Pictures to star in the Men in Black movie which will be in the making in no time. Actor Tessa Thompson has also joined the cast of Men in Black spinoff. Tessa and Chris will also reprise their roles of Valkyrie and Thor from Thor: Ragnarok in the upcoming Marvel mega film Avengers: Infinity War.

 

Matt Holloway and Art Marcum have written the script of the new film, reported. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are not expected to return in the film, which is meant to launch a new franchise with fresh talent involved. That means we get to see new faces fighting some aliens goons.

Sony had originally planned to combine the Men and Black and 21 Jump Street franchises, but that is not going to happen that plan has been dropped by Sony pictures. Walter F Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are producing with Steven Spielberg executive producing. David Beaubaire is overseeing the project for Sony.

 

The original movie featured Will Smith and Tommy lee Jones, who played agents of a secret organisation, known as the Men in Black, and protected Earth from intergalactic bad guys. The first film was a major critical and commercial success and was followed by two more sequels. The three films collected a total of 1.7 billion dollars worldwide.

Chris Hemsworth is popularly known for playing the god of thunder in the Thor in Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was last seen in his superhero avatar in 2017 blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok and now her Co-star Tessa Thompson has also joined hands for the Men In Black movie. Chris Hemsworth will be seen next starring as Thor in Marvel’s upcoming mega film project Avengers: Infinity war that is scheduled to release on April 27 worldwide and is expected to do a lot business in the box office. Chris’ other films include A Perfect Getaway, The Cabin in the Woods and Rush. Chris is known for his great acting skills and all the characters he have played uptil now, he’s aced them well if chris plays the lead role in MIB then the film will surely be a box office hit.
