The trailer for Robert Pattinson and William Dafoe’s upcoming film ‘The Lighthouse’ is out. The film was unveiled to the public at the Cannes film festival this year, the film has been directed by Robert Eggers and we will be seeing Robert Pattinson and William Dafoe playing the role of lighthouse keepers.
The trailer will send you thinking what the film is actually about because no plot has been revealed in the trailer, the film has been shot in black and white and it is described as a psychological horror set in the 1980’s New England. The trailer has some really creepy and disturbing footages from the film however it surely looks like a must watch.
William Dafoe is playing the role of an old man named Thomas Wake and Robert Pattinson who is a new recruit as the lighthouse keeper will be playing the role of Ephraim Winslow. Winslow is also seen digging a hole in the ground is he burying a body? There’s also a shot in the trailer where we see the two trying to stand upright in a storm and yes let’s not forget there’s also a weird creature in the ocean, is it a giant octopus.
Well the trailer is packed with mysteries wrapping up a mystery of what actually happens with the lighthouse keepers do they go crazy in this storm or do they really make it out as sane men, this question will only be answered when the film comes out on October 18.
The Lighthouse is currently having a score of 95% of rotten tomatoes with praises from the critics, it will be hitting the big screens on October 18.
