The second trailer for the Disney film Mulan is out and it looks amazing. The live-action remake of the 1998 animated film Mulan. Set in China the film looks like a must watch and it will be starring America-Chinese actress, model and singer Liu Yifei in the titular role. The trailer showcases us how Mulan wants to bring honor back to her family but her father does not let her fight however when China falls into ruthless invasions by enemies Mulan does not let that happen as she decided to go on and fight the invaders.

The plot of the movie will be revolving around the character of Mulan who will try to disguise herself as a man in order to stop his father from joining the Chinese Military and go fight the invading Huns. The film is set in China during the reign of Han dynasty. Mulan later joins the imperial army and goes to fight on the Han Dynasty saving China.

The film official synopsis read out “When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into an honored warrior and earn her the respect of a grateful nation…and a proud father. “Mulan” features a celebrated international cast that includes: Yifei Liu as Mulan; Donnie Yen as Commander Tung; Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan; Yoson An as Cheng Honghui; with Gong Li as Xianniang and Jet Li as the Emperor. The film is directed by Niki Caro from a screenplay by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver and Elizabeth Martin & Lauren Hynek based on the narrative poem “The Ballad of Mulan.”

The film will be releasing on March 27,2020.
