The Golden Globes 2020 had Ricky Gervais as the host however this time the actor had finally said that he will be playing the host for the last time this was his fifth year as a host at the Golden Globes.

Well 2021 Golden Globes awards will be having Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be sharing the hosting duties at the awards ceremony. The two have hosted at different awards ceremonies before however this will be the first time they will be hosting the Golden Globes.

Lorenzo Soria who is the president of Hollywood Foreign Press Association who gives out all the TV and Movies Awards, speaking about the duo she said “There’s no denying that Tina and Amy’s comedic chemistry is infectious, We can’t wait to see the dynamic duo return to the Golden Globes stage.”

Ricky Gervais jokes and comedy had received some mixed reviews and because of that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler had received a higher chance to host the 2021 golden globes, the duo also got a very warm welcome.

Gervais repeatedly said during the ceremony that it was the last time he intended to host the awards ceremony. A total of 18.3 million viewers tuned in, a small drop over the 18.6 million who watched the 2019 ceremony co-hosed by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg.
