“The Unstoppable” Mahira Khan makes her big Cannes debut with L’Oreal
Mahira Khan has finally made her much awaited debut at the Cannes Film Festival this year and we must say she looked every bit of a beauty in each of her look which she donned.
Mahira Khan thanked L’Oreal by tweeting:
“Thank you L’Oreal for the warm welcome, so happy to be part of this amazing family”
Just before her red carpet debut, she tweeted:
Mahira graced the red carpet look in an off-shoulder Alberta Ferretti black gown. She paired her look with minimal makeup, red lips and accessorized it with a neck piece adding every bit of the Oomph factor.
She made a major style statement at the red carpet and has impressed everyone with her looks.
Mahira Khan has been giving us serious fashion goals ever since she checked into the French Riviera over the weekend.
Let’s have a look at Mahira Khan’s Cannes Diaries:
Denim is always the right choice
After sporting a floral kimono jumpsuit, the stunning actress surprised us with her impeccable choices on day two.
For her first look she opted for an off-white Elan halter-neck top and flared pleated parallels of the same colour.

She concluded the look with a vibrantly-printed kaftaan. With her hair tied in a bun and minimal makeup, Mahira looked nothing less than a fashionista.
Later, she showed up in bright yellow off-shoulder top and high-wasted pants. She accessorized the look with a broad white belt and dainty golden danglings.
She seemed like a breath of fresh air, breaking the stereotypes of elaborate gowns and over dramatized costumes.
Mahira love for sarees was quite evident as she was opted for a draped look in a pale pink saree from the shelves of Menahel and Mehreen.
Mahira styled her hair in a rather traditional way and captioned her photo as: “Khajoor waali choti.”
Mahira’s Cannes debut is being celebrated as a historic event by the Pakistani women. She is the first Pakistani actress to have been invited for the Festival De Cannes.
She is attending the event as a brand ambassador of cosmetics giant L’Oreal (just like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor, who represent L’Oreal from India).
At a recent media interaction, she shared her excitement about being at Cannes.
“I am deeply humbled and full of gratitude towards L’Oreal Paris Pakistan for this amazing opportunity to represent the brand and projecting Pakistan’s blossoming industry on such a prestigious international platform”
“She feels extremely humbled about the development. Further adding that she is excited about attending the prestigious film festival and is still deciding on the outfits to wear for the event”

A Pakistan-based fashion designer, Hassaan Kahn tweeted:
“Couldn’t be more proud to have a sister who continues to open doors for future generations of Pakistan women. To make them believe they can achieve anything they want if they truly believe and love what they do,”
When Sonam met Mahira…
Sonam Kapoor and Mahira Khan raised their style statement at the 71st Cannes film festival as they appeared at the red carpet on same day.
However, the two divas met each other before walking the red carpet and were excited to see each other. It was a picture perfect moment as Sonam embraced a kiss on Mahira’s head.
