Ace writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar directorial debut project, Kaaf Kangana, has undergone another big change when Rangreza star Urwa Hocane replaces Sohai Ali Abro in the role of female protagonist.
The news has come as a great surprise because Urwa Hocane is the third heroine taken on board for the same project. Earlier, famous model Anoushay Mughal was roped in for the same role and she was later replaced by Sohi Ali Abro.
The writer confirmed the news to a local website saying that things couldn’t work out and Urwa Hocane was taken on board for the role of a lead heroine.

Earlier, Urwa Hocane’s husband and famous singer Farhan Saeed has been roped in for a role of male lead who has now replaced by Sami Khan. Rangreza star Ghana Ali plays the third angle in this love triangle.
Kaaf Kangana studded cast also included veteran actors; Asif Raza Mir, Sajid Hasan, Khursheed Shahid, Shamim Hilali, Saba Faisal and Qavi Khan, along with debutant, Abi Khan and cameo appearances by Vasay Chaudhry and Ahmad Ali Butt.
The film has been made in collaboration with ISPR and is based on an interesting story that has its roots in partition of subcontinent in 1947.
“I’d say the story is an incomplete love story of 1947, which is likely to be completed in 2018,” he, very philosophically shared. “It’s about people who never met then, during partition, but their offspring(s) meet up now,” the writer stated while talking about his dream project.
The music for Kaaf Kangana has been composed by Sahir Ali Bagga, whereas the film will feature top singers including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Atif Aslam and Arif Lohar.
