Warner Bros. has revealed that they will be will be delaying most of their films this year due to the Covid-19. The list of movies that are going to be delayed also include The Batman starring Robert Pattinson, The sopranos prequel and the Many Saint of Newark.

The sopranos film has been pushed back to a March 2021 release whereas Batman has been pished back four month prior to its release which means it will come out in October 2021, Will Smith’s drama King Richard has also been moved for a November 2021 release that means Warner Bros. will not be releasing a film for a long time.

However the studio has not completely abandoned the summer window as Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and Wonder Woman 1984 are pushed back for August 2020 releases.

Director Matt Reeves who is helming Batman also stated some days back “We’re not officially editing right now. We’ve actually shot a quarter of the movie and I have been pouring through dailies, looking at takes, and what’s to come, I can’t imagine we wouldn’t finish in London. The situation is fluid, It happens any time you shoot anything… It feels like there might be an opportunity to explore some of that unexpected tone that we found. With these movies, you never have enough prep time, because they’re so complex and so enormous in so many ways, It also gives me a moment to think about the larger sequences that have yet to come up and how I want to realize those.”
